Mia Tyler

Mia Tyler is soon to lose the qualifier- daughter of Aerosmith's Steven Tyler, half-sister of actress Liv Featured as one of Lane Bryant's five V-Girls shot by Francesco Scavullo, Mia helped open their runway show at Chelsea Piers last August. Signing with Wilhelmina's TEN-20 division, Mia is rocking the plus model world.

MIa landed her first fashion editorial in the March issue of Seventeen. At age 20, Mis is a strong role model for young women who know they will never be a size 6. "Iwas always a big kid and I'm OK with that," says Mia, "but I know that it would have been beteer growing up if I had seen role models who had figures like me. Beauty comes in all different packages. If you're a size 12, then your not any less beautiful than a size 4."

Featured in People magazine, Mia explained life growing up with her rock star father's famous lips. "When I was little, I got made fun of because of my lips, but it didn't bother me. They're the family lips." She also explains meeting her half-sister Liv. The two first met at a Aerosmith concert. Mia says, "We played and pretended we were sisters. That night I went home and told my mom that I'd met this girl Liv." Soon after, the mother's told them they were half-sisters. "Liv came running in," say Mia, "and we hugged and cried."

Mia was raised in New Hampshire by her mother, Cyrinda Foxe-Tyler. She moved to New York New York in 1990 and attended Manhattan's Professional Children's School. She later studied acting, which lead to an appearance in the 1997 pilot of CBS's Michael Hayes, MTV's House of Style and the as Wilhelmina model.

Mia has appeared in 'Teen magazine, Teen People, Us, Mode, Jump, YM, Moxie Girl, and USA Today Weekend. She was also a featured guest on the Rosanne Show and The Howie Mandel Show.

She's well on her way to be known as just Mia.
